Seminar "Geological and geophysical monitoring of the Tien Shan lithosphere", held by the RS RAS jointly with the IPE RAS

As part of this seminar, on February 25, 2022, the head of the LGPS, Ph.D. Kuzikov S.I. made a report: "The accuracy of space geodetic measurements in geodynamic research."

  VIII International Symposium on the basis of Research Station of RAS in Bishkek city.

From June 28 to July 2, 2021, the Eighth International Online Symposium "Problems of Geodynamics and Geoecology of Intracontinental Orogens" was held at the RS RAS.

At the section “Stress-strain state of the earth's crust, issues of its block structure and self-similarity of geodeformation processes. Seismotectonics of zones of intracontinental orogens” was the leading head of the LGPS, Ph.D. S.I. Kuzikov.

At the section "Seismic hazard assessment, regional studies of the seismic regime" the chairman was the leading researcher. LGPS, Ph.D. N.A. Sycheva.

LGPS staff made the following oral presentations:

- S.I. Kuzikov "Geometric estimates for variations of space geodetic data".

- N.A. Sycheva "Kinematic and dynamic parameters of earthquakes according to the KNET network (Northern Tien Shan)".

- N.A. Sycheva "Characteristics of the seismic process according to the data of the KNET network (Northern Tien Shan).

- Ph.D. A.N. Mansurov "Distribution of the values of the tensor of the rate of deformation of the earth's crust in the Pamirs and adjacent territories based on the calculation of local sets (triplets) of GPS-observation points".

  XIII International Conference of Young Scientists and Students at the RS RAS

From April 28 to April 30, 2021, the Thirteenth International Online Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Modern Techniques and Technologies in Scientific Research" was held at the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

LGPS staff made the following oral presentations at the conference:

- researcher A.N. Mansurov "A set of software tools for visualization in the software package "The Generic Mapping Tools" of linear objects from various geographical maps";

- junior researcher Yu.M. Salamatina "Dependence of the accuracy of intraday GPS positioning on the configuration of the constellation of satellites";

- engineer D.V. Koenigsberg "Comparison of algorithms for calculating intraday positions in the BERNESE software package";

- engineer O.A. Prokhorov "A program for primary estimation and filtering of time series of coordinates and velocity vectors obtained from the GAMIT/GLOBK package".

  Fifth tectonophysical conference at IPE RAS

From October 5 to October 9, 2020 at the Institute of Physics of the Earth, O.Yu. Schmidt (IPE RAS, Moscow) hosted an online tectonophysical conference. The head of the LGPS, Ph.D. S.I. Kuzikov, a presentation was made of the report "On the activity of faults in the earth's crust in the region of the Kirghiz Range (Central Tien Shan)".

  XII International Conference of Young Scientists and Students at the RS RAS

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on April 22-24, 2021, the planned XII International Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Modern Techniques and Technologies in Scientific Research" was not held at the Scientific Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences. However, within its framework, conference materials were published with the participation of LGPS employees:

- junior researcher Yu.M. Salamatina "Estimation of base distances accuracy by photogrammetry method";

- engineer D.V. Koenigsberg "High-precision positioning in Bernese GNSS Software and comparison with the results of calculations in GAMIT/GLOBK";

- engineer O.A. Prokhorov "Search for outliers in the time series of coordinates of brands of global navigation satellite systems".
