Studies related to forecast subjects require sufficient knowledge about deep structure of investigated territory, spatio-temporal distribution of deformation processes in the Earth’s crust which show themselves in variations of different geophysical parameters of geological medium, and its anisotropic properties.

That’s why the study and monitoring of seismically dangerous (seismogenerating) zones is carried out in LIS laboratory in complex, including such geophysical methods as electromagnetic observations in the form of far-field transient electromagnetic sounding using powerful artificial source of field excitation, geomagnetic observations and seismological observations.
