On the 12th of February, 2012, the Research Station carried out an event dedicated to the Day of Military Pullout from Afganistan.
The Direction of RS RAS and the Labor union cordially congratulated the veterans employed at the Research Station, and presented gifts to Victor Len’kov and Boris Bakka.
The Research Station invited the members of the Urban Military and Patriotic Society “Rodina” headed by Ilya Tol’sky to take part in the event. The purpose of this visit was the solemn presentation of decorations to the veterans of combat operations.
Victor Len’kov was awarded with the Government decoration of the Russian Federation – the badge “For military service in Caucasus” and the medal “For military service in the northern Caucasus”.
Boris Bakka was awarded with the medal “Veteran of war in Afganistan”.
