On October 18, 2016, homed by the Research Station RAS in Bishkek city the Scientific Workshop “COMPLEX GEODYNAMIC RESEARCH OF TIAN-SHAN REGION” was held.

Scientists from the Research Station RAS, Central-Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences, Institute of Geology NAS KR, Institute of Seismology NAS KR, Institute of Water Problems and Hydro Power NAS KR, Institute of Geomechanics and earth exploration NAS KR took part in this Workshop, devoted to 80-th anniversary from the day of birth of the first

           The reports of scientists on various scientific fields were presented.

The exhibition “Modern developments of software and hardware facilities for geodynamic research” took place.

It worth be noted that undergo scientific workshop was devoted to 80 anniversary from the date of birth of founder and first director of the Research Station RAS Yuri Andreevich Trapeznikova. In June 2017, it is planning to hold Seventh International Symposium “Modern problems of Geodynamics and Geoecology of Continental Orogens”.
