Employees of the Laboratory of integrated studies of geodynamic processes in geophysical fields (LIS) of the Research Station of RAS conduct research on several topical directions of modern geophysics. Thus, within one of the research areas the task of studying the seismoacoustic response of the geosphere to sounding by electric pulses of the electric exploration generator unit ERGU-600 is considered - in July the next series of field experiments was started. Registration of geoacoustic signal is made with the help of seismic station DYMAS-24 with three-axis geophone Veloget-3D on bedrock outcrops near the feeding dipole.

In the period from June 15 to June 27, MTS group consisting of 3 teams carried out detailing work on the profile "Boom", located near Zholbulak village of Kemin district. Teams number 1 and number 3 conducted magnetotelluric sounding (MTS). At 8 points of the profile the duration of MT field registration in the MTS mode at each observation point was 16-20 hours, in the audio mode (AMTS) at each site was 25-30 minutes and one site FT9 in deep mode (DMTS), where the duration of observations was 240 hours. The work was carried out using Phoenix MTU-5 and MTU-5A measuring complexes in the normal registration mode. The start of the work was preceded by calibrations of recorders and sensors of MT stations. At all observation points the control recording of at least 40 minutes was preceded by a check recording to assess the level of interference and adjust the registration parameters. The electric components of the magnetic field were measured using measuring units with electric dipoles 50 m long. The magnetic field components were measured using induction coil sensors MTC-50 and AMTC-30. At all sounding points, grounding of the dipoles was performed using non-polarizing electrodes, at 9 observation points including the DMTS point, grounding of the dipoles was performed according to the "sensor to sensor" principle with the previous observations carried out in 2020 and 2021. The orientations of measuring units at these points completely repeated the previous deployments.

Team No.2 were carried out works on the profile "Boom" by methods of electric tomography and evoked polarization with the help of multi-electrode station "Skala 48". Registration of data on the profile was performed by two types of unit: "Schlumberger" and "Wenner". The station operating was carried out using two multi-electrode cables, the length of each connecting cable is 120 meters, installation of electrodes was carried out with a step of 5 meters, the total number of electrodes when deploying two connecting cables is 48 pieces. The length of the work site was 3555 meters; registration was carried out in 29 basic observation points. After completion of the main works on the profile, in the area of points FT9 (DMTS) - FT8 (MTS) were carried out repeated 24-hour monitoring in the quantity of 36 registrations, duration of each 39-40 minutes by methods of electric tomography and evoked polarization using "Schlumberger" installation.

The cooperation between the RS RAS and the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (IS NAS KR) continues in the field of seismological research.

The employees of the Institute of Seismology carried out field seismological research in the Jalal-Abad region in accordance with two agreements from January 8th to May 21t, 2021. The Group of New Technologies Introduction has prepared and delivered three sets of RT130-01 seismic stations with STS-2 seismic sensors. The software and methodological documents for conducting research were also handed over.

From June 14 to June 16, after a two-year break (due to the closure of land borders), the workmen of the new equipment introduction group carried out repair and maintenance work at three RS facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan: SUMK-GPS station, USP-KNET station and CHUM repeater\station. The software was updated and the power system was repaired (replacement of batteries and charge controller).

Staff of the Laboratory of complex studies of geodynamic processes in geophysical fields (LCS) completed the stage of debugging of Overhauser magnetometer POS-1 in the mode of variation station in the mountain meteorological conditions together with the proton magnetometer MV-07. The equipment is located at the Ak-Suu stationary observation station (Northern Tien Shan), which is one of the base stations of geomagnetic observation network carried out by the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the experiment, more stable operation of the POS-1 magnetometer at low sampling frequencies and less susceptibility to electromagnetic interference of various nature were confirmed. It is planned to transfer the magnetometer into a continuous monitoring mode with data transfer in an online format.
